Leveraging GenAI in the real world: A reflection on Intelligence, Agency, Learning
Join us for a talk by Prof. Rajesh Vasa on January 31st in Melbourne
Join us for an exciting talk by Prof. Rajesh Vasa on January 31st at Microsoft in Melbourne! Prof. Vasa is the Head of Translational Research at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute, Deakin University.
Professor Vasa will talk about the intricate process of integrating Generative AI into existing systems, highlighting the unique and complex engineering challenges it entails. His discussion will delve into the specifics of testing linguistic interfaces, the effective communication of new features and changes, and the resolution of integration issues caused by the dynamic nature of AI co-pilots.
When: Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 5:30 PM
Where: Microsoft, 4 Freshwater Place, Southbank, VIC
Tickets: https://www.meetup.com/aiconmelb-meetup/events/298409816/
This meetup is organised by our long time community member Rajesh Mathur and will focus on AI systems in a business context.
Professor Vasa will explore the projected evolution of the technology over the next decade and the novel challenges this evolution poses for project sponsors.
Emphasising the importance of a first-principles understanding of 'machine learning', he will present ideas that add depth and nuance to the discussion. This presentation aims to enhance our comprehension of the potential and limitations of Generative AI, informing decision-making processes both from technical and business perspectives.
